Hedge Fund Sales
We are a successful emerging long-short hedge fund with an excellent performance record. To date, we have mainly managed the assets of the principals and their direct contacts. In an effort to increase our asset base, we are seeking a licensed, experienced sales professional to raise funds.
The successful candidate must have a readily accessible database of family offices, high net-worth individuals and investors receptive to investing in an emerging fund. We’re looking for a top-notch sales professional interested in joining a fast-growing company from the ground floor.
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial drive and be self driven with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. The candidate must pay strong attention to details and be well organized in order to be effective. The ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently with little to no supervision is strongly desired.
· Bachelors Degree with a strong academic record
· In depth knowledge of hedge funds and financial markets
· Strong base of client contacts
· Proven record of success in raising significant assets
· Successful record of raising capital from high net-worth and institutional investors
· Record of successfully initiating and closing sales
· Experience developing marketing plans based on target market
· Experience writing sales material and RFPs
