Job Description:
Summary:
My client is looking for a Senior Credit Analyst who has the drive and ambition to succeed. As a team member of the Credit Group you will have primary responsibilities for:
Review potential counterparty information (international and domestic) including financial statements and establish credit limits up to $25 million.
Meet with selected counterparties periodically to review financial statements and understand company risk.
Work with traders on credit contract language as needed.
Develop an understanding of country and industry risk.
Requirements:
Strong financial analysis, research skills
Excellent communication skills (Verbal and written).
Good computer skills (Excel and Word).
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
2+ years Bank or Trade Credit experience or International Trading experience.
Preferred:
2+ years of experience in corporate or bank credit.
Knowledge of letters of credit and/or other forms of mitigation.
Foreign language a plus
